Christian J. Hadjipateras was born in London in 1984. After graduating from Southampton Solent University with a higher national diploma in Business, he spent a year in New York where he gained experience in the maritime shipping industry, an industry his family has been involved with for generations. He also spent a few years in Los Angeles in the tv/film industry. He is now based in Athens, Greece.

Writing career:

Christian’s interest in writing started from a young age. From 2006-2009 he was a client of Curtis Brown Literary Agency in London. He worked as a writer on an ongoing American TV travel series, ‘Kindness Diaries’. He has a blog on the Huffington Post and also wrote temporarily for the Greek Reporter – an online news agency. In addition to that, he also attended the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA, where he wrote the script to and co-produced his first short film ‘First Do No Harm’.

TV/Film experience: while living in Los Angeles, Christian spent some time at a distribution company, Principal Media.

Christian currently writes on a freelance basis for a UK-based content agency and also works with Athens-based Economia Group, which counts The Economist amongst its partners.
